The Miniature Pinscher is a fairly healthy breed. After you have studied your bloodlines and determined the proper balance of outcrossing for genetic diversity and linebreeding for consistency of type. There are many health clearances that should be performed before breeding any Miniature Pinscher.

If you breeding MinPins you should be certain that your breeding stock does not display or produce these crippling diseases.

If you are purchasing a MinPin, you should require proof of healthy parentage. As a buyer, you will want to view the health testing done on the parents and grandparents of the puppy that you are buying.
