Be an informed purchaser, RESEARCH the breed in great depth before purchasing/adopting.
Research a breeder thoroughly before purchasing any dog of any breed.
Always insist on creditable references and peer referrals.

PLEASE be mindful of the timezone before telephoning a breeder. Try to make your calls between 9am and 9pm LOCAL time for the BREEDER! The time given on the mouse trailer is YOUR time, you'll have to "do the math". Or just send them an email requesting the best time to call.

Most breeders have given the colors they own &/or produce
Red which is Solid clear red; Stag red, which is red with an intermingling of black hairs.
Black which is Black, with sharply defined rust-red markings on the cheeks, lips, lower jaw, throat, twin spots above the eyes and chest, on the lower half of the forelegs, inside of the hind legs and vent region, on the lower portion of the rear pasterns and on the feet. Black pencil stripes are found on the toes.
Chlt which is Chocolate with rust-red markings found as specified for the Black dogs, except that brown pencil stripes are found on the toes.
Blue which is Blue with rust-red markings found as specified for the Black dogs, except that blue/gray pencil stripes are found on the toes.

Additionally most breeders have reported whether they have puppies on occasion

and whether or not they have a stud dog available to approved bitches.

If there is no breeder close, many breeders are reputable shippers who can fly a puppy to your nearest airport. Your new companion will be in your arms in a matter of hours from anywhere across the country.
